Ferry
The 2hr 45 min crossing departs from Ullapool and arrives in Stornoway, Lewis. Breasclete is 18 miles from Stornoway.
The 1 hr 45 min crossing departs from Uig in Skye and arrives in Tarbert, Harris. Breasclete is 40 miles from Tarbert. www.calmac.co.uk
Ferry fares to and from the Outer Hebrides have been reduced by up to 40% by the introduction of RET (Road Equivalent Tariff) by the Scottish Government.
By Air
There are regular daily flights from Stornoway to Glasgow (50 min flight duration), Inverness (35 mins) and Edinburgh (1 hr). There are also return flights (Mon - Fri) between Stornoway and Aberdeen (45mins) operated by Eastern Airways.
